UNAM is situated in the south of Mexico City, next to Avenida Insurgentes, one of the city's main avenues. There are some good hotels nearby, which are very convenient distance-wise. However, please note that they are not located in a lively area with restaurants to dine or walk around. These hotels are:

Accommodation in Coyoacán (around 10 km from the venue)

Alternatively, there are some other options in Coyoacán. Coyoacán is a historic borough also in the south of the City (but please bear in mind the size of Mexico City). There are plenty of places to dine, beautiful streets, and historic sites (again, please do not walk at night). In the morning, it should take you 25-35 minutes to get to our venue by taxi or Uber, and the fare should be around $80-120 Mexican Pesos ($4-6 US dollars), depending on the traffic. There are no big hotels in Coyoacán, but there are some convenient B&B options.
